Reflection

Through this course, I learned how to complete a design research dissertation step by step. At the beginning, I was confused about the structure of the paper and did not clearly understand the difference between description and analysis. With continuous feedback from the lecturer, I gradually learned how to revise my work, improve my literature review, and connect theory with my research topic. I also learned the importance of correct citation, academic writing format, and visual analysis in research. Although the revision process was time-consuming and sometimes difficult, it helped me better understand the research process and improve my academic and design thinking skills. Overall, this course helped me gain more confidence in conducting research and completing a full dissertation.
