Lecture:
What I Learned This Week: Visual Hierarchy
This week, I learned how visual hierarchy helps organize design elements so that viewers know where to look first. I now understand that size, color, contrast, and spacing all play a role in guiding the viewer’s eye.
I also learned that:
Bigger and bolder elements attract more attention.
Grouping related items helps improve clarity.
Using different font sizes and weights shows importance.
White space makes the design feel more balanced and focused.
Visual hierarchy is important because it makes information easier to understand and helps create a better user experience.

What I Learned This Week
This week, I learned about designing for awareness and storytelling using motion graphics. The key takeaway is that design isn’t just about how something looks—it’s about how it communicates a message.
I learned that:
Motion graphics can make a message more emotional and memorable.
Simple visuals, when paired with sound or voiceover, can tell powerful stories.
Good storytelling in design doesn’t always need color or complexity—it needs clarity and emotion.
Awareness videos often rely on typography, movement, and rhythm to guide the viewer and create impact.
week4
Lecture:
This week, I learned the basics of screenwriting, especially the three-act structure, character development, dialogue writing, and scene description. It helped me understand how to organize a story clearly, create believable characters, and write more natural dialogue.
I realized I still need to improve on character depth and scene details, but this learning sparked my interest in storytelling and gave me a good foundation for future writing.
week5
Lecture:
This week, I learned how visual elements like composition, color, and camera angles can be used to tell a story and express emotion. I now better understand how visual language supports narrative and character development.
This helped me see film and media in a new way, not just as stories, but as carefully designed visual experiences. I realized I still need to practice using these techniques in my own work, but I’m more confident in analyzing and applying visual storytelling now.
