INSTRUCTIONS
week2
Lecture:
This week I learned about the fluidity and rhythm of animation, and how to make the movements more natural through keyframes and transition frames.
This knowledge helped me improve my grasp of animation details and made me realize the importance of rhythm in expressing emotions.
In the future, I will practice more and apply the principles I learned to my own works.
week3~4
Lecture:
This week I learned the "flexibility" principle of animation, focusing on how to make the character's movements more natural and flexible. By practicing the arrangement of key frames and transition frames, I understood the impact of the rhythm of the action on the smoothness of the animation.
I also observed the exaggeration and buffering of the character when moving, which made me understand that detail processing is very important for expressing the character's personality and emotions.
This study has improved my attention to animation details and enhanced my awareness of controlling the rhythm of movements. Next, I will try to apply these principles in my creation to make my animation more lively and expressive.
week5
Lecture:
This week you learned about the "exaggeration" principle of animation. You learned that appropriately amplifying the character's movements, expressions, or scene elements can enhance the visual impact, make the character more vivid, and make the emotions stronger. You tried to strengthen the emotional expression by pushing and pulling the action range, speeding up the rhythm, or lengthening the time. You also learned how to maintain the consistency of the character's logic in exaggeration. This technique can help you create more expressive characters and a more rhythmic narrative in future animations.
