Experience：

This semester, I delved deeper into typography and various layout design methods. Through numerous courses and practical exercises, I mastered the application techniques of different layout styles, making me more adept at handling text and image layouts. Additionally, I learned how to design a personal logo. From the initial concept development to the final detail refinement, each step made me appreciate the complexity and creativity involved in design. These hands-on experiences not only improved my design skills but also boosted my confidence, better preparing me for future design challenges.

Observation:

Throughout my studies, I observed that typography and layout play crucial roles in visual communication. Different fonts and layout styles convey various emotions and messages, highlighting the importance of choosing the right typography and design approach. I also noted that designing a logo is not just about selecting graphics and colors but also about deeply understanding and expressing brand concepts. By examining other outstanding design works, I learned how to focus on details to create unique and compelling designs. Moreover, I realized that font design involves both aesthetics and functionality.

Discovery:

During this semester, I discovered many previously unknown knowledge and skills. For instance, designing fonts requires not only artistic creativity but also a deep understanding of character structure and proportion. I learned how to use professional software to import designed fonts onto a computer, opening up a whole new design realm for me. I also found that continuous practice and project work significantly enhanced my design thinking and skills. Additionally, I realized the importance of continuous learning and accumulating design experience, as each attempt and exploration brings me closer to becoming a better designer. These discoveries provide valuable guidance for my future design journey.
