Explain why you like the designs?

Design #1:

Description:

I chose this picture because the same as our human sauna. Some people enjoy the sauna very

much ,and maybe the food enjoys the sauna as much as we do.

Design #2:

Description :

This picture reminds me that the increasing temperature of the earth today has caused

many glaciers to melt, and the reason for the increasing temperature is that human beings do not care about the environment, so I think this picture tells me to care about the environment.

Design #3:

Description:
Personally, I think the last picture is very interesting. The vegetable in the picture just look like
a tied umbrella. If they are opened, the light can still reflect beautiful turquoise through the vegetables .

Week2:

LECTURES:
Introduction to Photoshop
Toolbox

Photoshop provides several toolsets in the toolbox, and we can expand the toolset to show other tools. And can make full use of its tools to help us design.

This week we learned about the lasso tool and pen tool in the toolbar

The use and introduction of lasso tools:

  1. Lasso tools can draw and pinpoint specific areas of a document.
  2. A tablet is more suitable for a lasso tool because it is similar to a pencil.
  3. Unlike a mouse or trackpad, a graphics tablet can provide a better sense of flow when drawing and selecting.
  4. The lasso tool in the toolbar has three different lasso tools, they are:
  • noose
  • Polygonal lasso
  • Magnetic lasso

The use and introduction of pen tools:

  • When it comes to creating a path from scratch, the pen tool is the most common choice.
  • The pen tool is how you add these points, and the way you drag the tool while creating the points determines how they look.
  • Remember, the fewer points, the smoother the path.

LECTURES:
This week we've looked at quick selection tools, layer masks, filters, and color correction.

Next is my class practice:
  • Copy and paste the smoke photo onto the girl's photo (new layer)
  • Apply screen blend mode
  • Create a new adjustment layer and adjust the color level to increase contrast

Create a new radial gradient,Set the opacity to 20%

It ends up looking like this

Use the Quick Selection Tool to subtract the background.

  1. Shortcut keys: Zoom in/out, increase/decrease brush size, subtract from/add to selection.
  2. Add layer mask
  3. Apply layer mask
  4. Drag the SHAZAM onto the HEARST MANSION, resize and reposition the SHAZAM.
  5. Shortcut keys: Free transform mode, maintain aspect ratio
  6. Press and hold the SHIFT button on the keyboard to rescale the layer and ensure that the image is not deformed.

Adjust Color Correction: Match Color (Image → Adjustments) as shown below

Create Shadows for Shazam

  • Create a new layer (and rename it Shadow)
  • Use the brush tool
  • Draw a black shadow on the background of the SHAZAM layer
  • Then lower the transparency to create natural shadows

  • Create NEW LAYER to make SHAZAM’s reflection.
  • SHORTCUT KEYS: POLYGONAL LASSO Tool,
  • Duplicate the SHAZAM’s layer
  • Rename the layer as reflection
  • Adjust the colour correct for reflection layer:
  • HUE/SATURATION (Image → Adjustments)
  • Apply RIPPLE filter to SHAZAM’s reflection layer.

The above is what I learned in this class

Week3:
This week’s homework is to take a full-body photo of yourself and then put it into the background according to the method taught in class.

Week1:

Week2: For this week's homework, I used ps to splicing my image with the pictures sent by the teacher. I showed my splicing works to the teacher, and the teacher said that he liked the picture of the car with long grass designed by me, but the three pictures I designed all had a common problem, that is, they were too simple and there were too few items. I hope I can add more items to enrich the picture.

Week3:Our homework this week was to add photos of ourselves to the background image given by the teacher. The teacher checked that my homework results were unqualified because my character composition was too large and the proportions were uncoordinated. I did not carefully observe the sample image given by the teacher. , causing the assignment to fail. After that, I immediately made changes, carefully observed the sample drawings, and made the correct modifications.

Week4: The teacher commented on my homework this week. He said that I did a very good job and processed the photos in great detail. The only flaw is that the necklace on the girl in the photo is too dark and could be brightened.

Week5: This week I showed my homework to the teacher. The other designs were pretty good, but the colors were too bright and needed to be a little darker. With the help of the teacher, I completed the final product.
